I'm finally getting back to blogging and my most recent adventure has been engine rebuilding. This engine was a 1992 small block Chevy (SBC) 350 with a blown head gasket. Here is a list of the goodies that went into this rebuild:
- Stock single piece crankshaft block.
- Vortec pistons, standard size.
- New rings.
- New cam bearings.
- New rod journal and crank main bearings.
- Cylinders were ball-honed.
- Crank was in great shape.
- Cylinders heads used were 081 Chevy 305 heads fully rebuilt.
- New timing set.
- Truck-large torque camshaft.
- New lifters and push rods.
- Felpro head gaskets.
